Switching to a new (open source) invoicing system: InvoiceNinja

We'll be rolling out the changes over the next two months. The first group to move over will be our monthly support clients. The first invoice should be at the start of June. 

The main reason for the move is the extensive API and developer documentation available for InvoiceNinja which will allow us to integrate our various support services directly to our invoicing system. It'll allow for more accurate and timely reporting on client support usage each month, make it easier to track which hosting services clients are using and reduce the amount of manual effort that goes into doing the "business" part of running a business.

As we finalize our integration between our Drupal based tools and InvoiceNinja we're planning to open source any of the modules we've written to do so. We also may showcase the changes at an upcoming Drupal event or DrupalYow meetup.

For our existing clients, note there's also a new email address which invoices are being sent from which we've sent out. You should have received details about that in your email. If you have any questions or would like to verify the changes feel free to email info@coldfrontlabs.ca and we'll be happy to confirm any of the changes with you. 

The original invoicing system will remain in place for the time being. Both to allow review of older invoices and until all the data has been migrated to the new application.
